Information We Collect
The information collected depends on how you use the website. It may include:
- Identity and account information: name, username, display name, email address, account ID and password information stored in protected form.
- Order and subscription information: products purchased, order history, billing details, transaction IDs, subscription status and payment status.
- Pacifist Score information: uploaded Rocket League replay files, player names contained in those files, match data, generated scores, licence level, reports and account history.
- Discord connection information: Discord user ID, basic profile information made available by Discord, connection token and relevant server-role data.
- Communication information: support messages, coaching enquiries, feedback, reviews and email-subscription preferences.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, referring pages, session identifiers, clicks, scrolling and other website interactions.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in usernames, replay filenames, support messages or other fields unless it is genuinely necessary.
Accounts, Purchases And Subscriptions
Account information is used to provide login access, deliver the free sample and programmes you request, unlock purchased products, manage book ownership, provide Pacifist Score access and maintain your account history.
WooCommerce is used to manage orders and customer accounts. Payment processing may be handled by Stripe or PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card number. We may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, billing information, card type or limited card details such as the last four digits where the payment provider makes those available.
Order and subscription information may also be used to prevent fraud, manage failed payments, provide customer support, issue refunds and meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
Printed books are sold through Amazon KDP. Amazon normally handles the purchase, payment, delivery and return as a separate service. We only receive information from you about that purchase when you choose to provide it, for example when requesting a physical-owner benefit or support.
Pacifist Score And Replay Analysis
Pacifist Score processes standard Rocket League 2v2 replay files to generate coaching-style analysis. A replay may contain player names, account identifiers, match information, timestamps, gameplay events and other match metadata.
The replay is analysed to create information such as a Pacifist Score, licence level, player type, strengths, recurring decision leaks, relevant book references, drills and recommended focus.
Original uploaded replay files expire automatically after 14 days. Completed reports and account history may remain available in your account so the service can show your previous analyses and progression.
An eligible score and the display identity used by Pacifist Score may appear on the public Pacifist leaderboard. The leaderboard is intended to show the identity associated with the relevant Pacifist Licence and score, not private account or payment information.
Failed, skipped or invalid uploads may be retained briefly for diagnostics and support before being deleted.
Discord Connection And Belt Progress
Connecting Discord is optional. When you authorise the connection, the website uses Discord OAuth with the identify and guilds.join permissions.
This allows the website to receive your basic Discord identity, add you to the Pacifist Discord where needed and read or synchronise relevant Pacifist roles, such as ownership, licence or Belt roles.
The website stores the Discord user ID and connection token needed to maintain the integration. The connection does not provide access to your private Discord messages.
You can request that the stored Discord connection information is removed by contacting support@pacifist.ac. Removing the connection may prevent website Belt progress or Discord-role synchronisation from working.
Email, Samples, Marketing And Support
When you create an account to receive the free sample, make a purchase or ask for support, your email address is used to send the requested material, account messages, order information, service notices and replies.
Promotional or educational emails may be sent where you have consented or where another lawful permission applies. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing does not prevent essential service emails, such as security, order, access or subscription messages.
Mailchimp may be used to deliver email campaigns and connect permitted store activity with email communications.
Support correspondence is used to answer questions, resolve account or payment issues, investigate technical faults and maintain a reasonable record of the support provided.
Analytics, Session Insights And Cookies
With the appropriate cookie choice, Google Analytics may be used to measure visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, device and browser information, approximate location and website interactions.
Microsoft Clarity may be used to understand how people interact with the website through heatmaps, session playback and interaction information such as clicks, scrolling and pointer movement. Sensitive form fields are intended to be masked by the service.
These services use online identifiers and may process technical information that qualifies as personal information under data-protection law. Non-essential analytics and tracking are controlled through the Complianz consent banner.
Functional cookies are also used for login, security, consent choices, shopping-cart behaviour, payment fraud prevention and user-interface preferences.
The current cookie categories, services, cookie names, purposes and durations are listed in the Cookie Policy. You can also reopen the consent controls there.
Our Lawful Bases
Different activities use different lawful bases under the UK GDPR:
To create and manage an account, deliver purchased or requested products, process Pacifist Score replays, provide coaching, manage subscriptions and answer service requests.
To keep required financial records, respond to lawful requests, meet tax obligations and comply with applicable consumer, accounting and data-protection law.
To secure the website, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose faults, provide support, maintain business records and improve services in ways users would reasonably expect.
For non-essential cookies, analytics, tracking and marketing communications where consent is required. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Who We Share Information With
Information is shared only where needed to operate the website, provide a requested service, meet a legal obligation or protect the website and its users.
Hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce providers used to run the website, accounts, products and orders.
Payment processing, subscription billing, fraud prevention and payment-related support.
Delivery and management of permitted email communications.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity where the relevant analytics consent has been provided.
Optional account connection, joining the Pacifist server and reading or synchronising relevant Discord roles.
Accountants, advisers, insurers, payment-dispute services or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.
We do not sell personal information.
How Long We Keep Information
Automatically expire after 14 days.
Retained while needed to provide account history and progression, until deletion, account closure or a valid erasure request, subject to legal and dispute requirements.
Retained while the account or connection remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for support, security, fraud prevention or legal claims.
Retained for the period required by UK accounting and tax law. For self-employed business records, this is normally at least five years after the relevant 31 January tax-return deadline.
Retained until you unsubscribe or the information is no longer needed. A limited suppression record may be retained to make sure an unsubscribe request continues to be respected.
Retained according to the settings and retention periods of the relevant provider and the current Cookie Policy.
Retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain service records and handle possible disputes.
Automated Replay Analysis
Pacifist Score uses automated processing to analyse replay data and generate scores, labels and coaching feedback.
This processing is designed for educational and development purposes. It does not make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects about you.
Automated reports can contain errors or limitations. Contact support if you believe a report has processed the wrong replay or contains a technical problem.
International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where this happens, we use providers that apply an available lawful transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations, an approved UK transfer agreement or addendum, or another safeguard recognised by UK data-protection law.
Children’s Information
The website and account services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly ask a child under 13 to create an account or provide consent for non-essential processing.
A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided personal information should contact us so the information can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.
Users under 18 should involve a parent or guardian when making purchases or entering paid service arrangements where required.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information, including access controls, account authentication, secure connections, payment-provider tokenisation and limiting access to people who need it.
No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and connected accounts secure and for contacting support if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your Data-Protection Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- Ask for access to personal information held about you.
- Ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected.
- Ask for eligible information to be erased.
- Ask for processing to be restricted.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Receive eligible information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for future processing at any time.
- Object to direct marketing at any time.
Rights are not absolute and may be limited where information must be retained for legal obligations, fraud prevention, disputes or the rights of another person.
Email support@pacifist.ac. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk .
