Purple Belt. Master Wall Shots.

Learn to read wall bounces, meet the ball cleanly and convert loose wall touches into reliable shots.

The Purple Belt is the first Air Belt. After developing grounded control and structured defence, this lesson teaches you to use the wall as a shooting platform without forcing a more complicated play.

Turn Wall Bounces Into Direct Threats.

Wall shots teach you to read the ball’s path, wait for a useful contact window and strike directly from the wall without adding unnecessary height or complexity.

This is not about air dribbles. It is about turning wall bounces into goals.

01

Read The Wall Bounce

Let the ball reveal its height, speed and separation before committing your car to the shot.

02

Prioritise Clean Contact

Meet the ball with a stable car shape and useful angle rather than chasing maximum height or rotation.

03

Choose The Simple Finish

When the direct shot is available, take it instead of converting a high-percentage chance into a riskier aerial carry.

Watch, Load, Practise

Watch the complete lesson first, then use the training pack to focus on reading the bounce, timing the jump and striking cleanly.

Why Wall Shots Matter

The Highest-Percentage Aerial Option Is Often The Simplest One.

Players waste wall opportunities when they jump before reading the bounce, force an air dribble or turn a simple strike into a mechanical test.

More Goals From Loose Wall Balls

Better reads allow you to punish rebounds and touches that would otherwise drift harmlessly across the wall.

Faster Offensive Decisions

Recognising the direct shot removes hesitation and prevents the defence from recovering into the play.

Reduced Mechanical Risk

Choosing the clean strike avoids unnecessary carries, extra touches and awkward recoveries.

Stronger 2v2 Pressure

Direct wall shots force saves and create rebounds while keeping the attack easier for your teammate to read.

Good aerial offence does not start in the air. It starts with the right first touch.

What Usually Goes Wrong

Four Mistakes That Complicate The Wall Shot.

Inconsistent wall shots usually come from committing before the bounce is understood or adding movement that does not improve the hit.

Too Early

Jumping Before Reading The Bounce

Leaving the wall too soon fixes your path before the ball’s height and separation become clear.

Too Much Rotation

Over-Rotating In The Air

Extra rotation makes the contact harder to time when a simple car shape would reach the ball more cleanly.

Too Much Force

Trying To Hit The Ball Too Hard

Rushing for power can destroy the angle and contact quality that would have made the shot dangerous.

Wrong Objective

Treating Every Touch Like An Air Dribble

Carrying the ball is not automatically better than taking the direct shot already available.

The Purple Belt teaches you that wall shots are about timing and simplicity, not flair.
Practice Method

Build The Shot From The Wall Read.

The objective is not merely to score each attempt. It is to reproduce the read, jump timing and contact that make wall shots reliable.

  1. 01

    Watch The Full Lesson

Understand how the bounce, wall position and jump timing combine before opening the training pack.

  2. 02

    Let The Ball Develop

Read the bounce first instead of committing to a pre-planned jump or aerial path.

  3. 03

    Choose Clean Contact

Strike through the useful part of the ball with the simplest car adjustment required.

  4. 04

    Complete The Pack In Sequence

Finish every shot from start to finish without resetting, then save a screenshot of the completed pack.

Complete The Pack Without A Reset.

Once every shot has been completed from start to finish, take a screenshot of the completed pack and submit it in the Pacifist Discord to earn the Purple Belt role.

Once the role is awarded, your completion tick will sync across the Blog Hub and this lesson.
