To earn it, you must demonstrate consistent, intentional use of fakes to force defensive mistakes, using power shots, bounce dribbles, air roll shots, and timing as threats rather than obligations.
This belt teaches you how to:
- Threaten multiple outcomes at once
- Read defensive behaviour in real time
- Choose the right option instead of the obvious one
This is the final test of your ground offence.
Why Fakes matter at this stage
Earlier belts teach you how to shoot.
Blue Belt V teaches you when not to.
Most players plateau because they:
- Always take the shot
- Commit to the first option they see
- Give defenders easy reads
Fakes fix this by teaching you to:
